I'm really outraged right now, because of people making those monkey face comments "I CAmE hErE fRoM JuNgKoOk'S cOvEr" like.... What the hell? Can anyone speak about the song itself? it really hurts to see a song gaining popularity just after someone famous covered it, and it's not even the original that is getting that much attention... If I make a song and this happens to me I'll be incredibly hurt and immediately take it down....

Crystal Onwusibe Same I’m also an army. Seeing all these people saying “ I was here because of Jungkook” and not giving any recognition to Lauv is very disrespectful. I feel like they should at least try to compliment Lauv for making this amazing song and many other songs he had created. sure, i've been heartbroken. does this song remind me of them? sometimes, but not really. it's all me. i love sadness and nostalgia late at night in my bedroom. sounds weird. most people wouldn't get it, but people who are currently listening to this song and scrolling through the comments, looking for things to relate to--they know exactly what i mean. lauv has a beautiful voice and just reminds me how sad but beautiful everything is, and that everything happens for a reason. some days it's hard to remember this. sometimes it even makes me angry that people believe this, but it doesn't matter. whoever's reading this, whatever you're going through, if at all, somebody loves you whether you know it or not. you deserve the best life and i hope you are getting the love that you deserve

Man that first verse, hit me like a brick wall. It's been two years and still the memories still come back but they're so faint. The thing is I don't want to remember, I'm afraid if I do ill go back to where I was two years ago. So instead I'll just suppress them, numb to my own feelings and sacred to open up to new people. But LAUV you're music speaks to the pain that I've been feeling for so long. It's bitter sweet but the best way I can describe in one word would be "Honesty". Now that's something I haven't come to terms with for a long time, hopefully by listening to your music and letting my emtions go through maybe I can start being honest with myself. With that said please never stop creating music because you help feel something again, so thank you.

First listened to this when I was utterly heartbroken. I honestly thought I was gonna love my ex forever and not be able to move on generally. Looking back, I guess I was wrong. Listening to this now was bittersweet: bitter because I know I can never re-live those magically beautiful memories we've had, and sweet because I know I have finally moved on from him/her. It's honestly a liberating moment-- realizing you're finally okay after months of being disraught and being an emotionally wreck. To those who are still in pain, it's okay. Take one step at a time and you'll soon get there. You are loved and the future holds something brighter for you. For all of us.

whenever I listen to this song, memories of someone I knew but haven't met yet keeps on flashing in my mind. Memories that never had happened in my life with him keeps on replaying. It hurts. Why? because I am still hoping for the day to come for us to meet. He was someone I knew for the shortest span of time but ironically left an 'almost half of his existence' mark in my life. He was not the best, but he was truly enough. I miss him, so much. Until today, I'm honestly still hoping for him to be back. first off it’s not sad that we found this song because of jungkook, if anything it gave this song more recognition. and we don’t need to stop doing anything, if bts recommend us a song it isn’t ‘sad’ or a negative thing. it’s us supporting other artists through bts’s recommendations. why are you so butthurt lol?

Your album, this song, Chasing Fire, Paris in the Rain and Adrenaline were especially impactful to me. I was on the brink but your music kept me sane long enough to seek the necessary help to save my life. I'm now 20 years old, in college and I couldnt be happier. Lauv is an amazing artist and I hope you guys can recognize his talent. Please be respectful to the original artist, fellow army. It’s fine to say you discovered this beautiful song because of jungkook, but it’s getting too much with all the same comments over and over again, overflooding the comments about the song itself.
