sure, i've been heartbroken. does this song remind me of them? sometimes, but not really. it's all me. i love sadness and nostalgia late at night in my bedroom. sounds weird. most people wouldn't get it, but people who are currently listening to this song and scrolling through the comments, looking for things to relate to--they know exactly what i mean. lauv has a beautiful voice and just reminds me how sad but beautiful everything is, and that everything happens for a reason. some days it's hard to remember this. sometimes it even makes me angry that people believe this, but it doesn't matter. whoever's reading this, whatever you're going through, if at all, somebody loves you whether you know it or not. you deserve the best life and i hope you are getting the love that you deserve

Man that first verse, hit me like a brick wall. It's been two years and still the memories still come back but they're so faint. The thing is I don't want to remember, I'm afraid if I do ill go back to where I was two years ago. So instead I'll just suppress them, numb to my own feelings and sacred to open up to new people. But LAUV you're music speaks to the pain that I've been feeling for so long. It's bitter sweet but the best way I can describe in one word would be "Honesty".
