Literally same here. The first time I heard this song was his performance on Jimmy Fallon and it HIT so hard immediately. Chills then and still chills now, everytime I hear it. As you said, his ability to articulate and capture this feeling that many of us feel (especially so I think in these past couple of years) is incredible. Comforting. Powerful. Ugh, I love him!!
