i feel like this song is about how we used to be so carefree when we were young as children, how our 'happiness' came much more easily because we defined our happiness based on the simplicity of the things we loved to do like our hobbies, and we even enjoyed imagining ourselves in a fantasy world. we held these close to our heart. however as we grew up, we started to lose sight of these "invisible things", the small things that we used to enjoy doing, because we're all so caught up in other things like doubting ourselves, second-guessing everything, overthinking, and we forget that these things still exist in our lives. I think this song is to remind us of how the little things that used to bring us joy are still present and here with us, and we can be grateful for these invisible things that will forever be a part of us ❤

i love how he chose the 2 personalities (“colors”) that are the fun/ goofy ones. since the song is about being kids and our old happy place...it all just really goes. he put so much time and effort not only to the songs but also the visuals and the background that has gone with it...it just helps us relate so much more to the music & has us fall in love with him over and over again after every song💙

I remember there was a time when I was constantly feeling so empty and so desperate and lonely, but at the same time I couldn't bear anyone being near me. And in addition to that I felt bar because in my eyes I had no reason to feel that way .It was only much later that when I finally cut ties with the person that made me feel that way that I realized how they really had been the whole reason I felt so awful. Only when that immense weight was lifted off my shoulders and was starting to get better with every day that passed without them . At first I could not enjoy being free because I felt so incredibly guilty and at the same point I even thought I was the one causing all the trouble to begin with but I know now that it was the right choice .I finally learned to love myself again and there are still so many people who love me .Thanks all for reading this

I find this video kinda cute. Like, he really seems to enjoy himself. For example, at 2:33, the green and yellow version are being a bit crazy and they smile a lot. Such things make me so happy, I enjoy the music 10 times more because of that.

To me, this song is the desires of many in the 21st century vocalised. We wish we could go back to the days when everything was so very simple, when everything is appreciated. I love how simple and effective his videos have been. It's so relaxing and not all glamour and fancy like other artists. All he needed was a couch and he filmed his video, I really liked that. This album is relatable to a lot of people and I am one of them. Mental Health is one of those topics that can't just be discussed easily so I really appreciate that he expressed it through music. It's really meaningful and I am very grateful for it. Thank you Lauv :) lots of love from London

The visual incorporation of The Class Clown and Mr Positive is so smart, Ari. It really sets the tone of the song and provides a deeper understanding behind the song's meaning. I've never seen a visualiser like this, so fucking unique, I love the way you've approached and thought out this album. Incredibly innovative.

I was already into the lyrics completely enjoying it when suddenly 'the goofy' and 'the free-spirited' lauv appeared in the video, well guess what? That made it all the more enjoyable. Those moves though! 🔥 By the way, I was totally expecting 'damn' in place of 'sshh'. 😂

Lauv's way of releasing an audio is so good..... Most people just put a picture in the middle and the audio plays in the background, it doesn't feel engaging..... Whereas lauv just makes it soooooo much better ❤️

He does. I first saw "I like me better" mv then idk who said hear feelings. Oh it was from Snapchat, I came to KZbin and saw the audio video. And I feel in love with his songs. I've hear a few more and he's so good! Like insanely talented
