This song did some crazy shit to me. At the time I had a girl and I showed her this song and I was thinking damn if she left me this song would be so fitting. A couple days later she left, and now I can’t stop listening and it hurts so much but the song is rlly fitting that’s why I still listen and hopefully I want her back so badly.

A really close friend of mine let me hear this a few days ago... He confessed to me a few months back but I was still fresh out of a break up... with his best friend... The thing is I never felt the same way for him as he did and he knows that, yet I recently confirmed that he still likes me... We dont talk anymore today. I guess its best to keep my distance... But I genuinely hope he's okay because I really did care about him, even if its not the way he wanted... He still matters to me :/

I heard the story about this song and came straight here and subscribed. Just the fact that a celebrity took the time and effort to not only make a program like blue thoughts, but to go through and read the letters, is truly amazing. He could've just let those letters sit in that box and ignore them, but he cared about the program and the people involved, and so he gave attention to it. And then he wrote an amazing song and published the inspiring story behind the song. This was amazing. Thank you.

I teared up, I love how Lauv came up with this idea. It makes me so happy that he decided to do this project and I absolutely love his work. Martin, I hope things work out for you, I know the struggles of a long distance relationship since I'm one right now. I wish luck for both Martin and Lauv 💕

I love how confident he is about this song! I’m starting to write songs myself so the key is to write everything you think of down and if it doesn’t work oh well. Lauv is inspiring to never stop trying to write songs because it’s such an amazing talent!

My favorite moment is after 0:12, when someone says "Oh my god". That's literally how I would feel after Lauv whipped up a sensational hook in a few minutes!!! That was the moment they knew it would be a hit :O (relative to his other hits. Every song Lauv makes is beautiful.)

just a few days before this song came out i came back from visiting my long distance boyfriend. we met 6 times already so i was getting used to saying goodbye and all and going back to being long distance so i didnt cry this time i was coming back. just a few second after i finish listening to this beautiful song and the words and the story behind them sink in i just burst into tears that i ccould not control because this felt so personal and so strong that i couldnt help it. if i could only describe the feelings it gives me every time i listen to it... this song is truley amazing.
