RIP Dad! 🙏🏼 🤍 he passed away unexpectedly on July 29th at the much too tender age of 56. This song makes me think of my mother and I for how we must now continue to go thru life without his physical presence here to help guide us and we’ll be forever heartbroken that he left us so soon. 💔 😢 Be well everyone and tell the people in your life how much they mean to you. Tomorrow is never promised. ❤

RIP your Dad 🙏. I know how hard it is to face the blank of someone and especially parents. My Dad also passed away 3 years ago. Hope you and your mother are finding comfort in every way and staying strong for the life.

My Dad also passed away a year ago at the age of 55. It’s like surreal and I still find it crazily hard to accept his death. I thought I would be able to spend more time with him together. I was planning to take my parents to a lot of places after I graduate from the university. I couldn’t give him back what I’ve received from him. I don’t know what to say, but I sincerely wish you and your family’s happiness.

Lauv's First Heartbreak portrays what most of us goes through. First heartbreak really hurt us bad when we gave them our all and our trust are deeply crushed that it's hard to move on though there might comes time when we thought were completely fine but all at once it hit us again...when all we can do at the end is reminiscing all the memories when the days are getting gloomy or when a little sunset hit us ,when winter arrives,when we walked down the road they used to go,shops ,movies, certain little things because how could we forget the one who gave us so much to remember... I guess it's true no matter what ..,the one's who loved the most are the one who are in more pain. be it in a relationship,family,or friends ❤

You inspired me to write my own music. I met you when I was 18 is my all time favorite album and this song just reminds me so much of the old days. I still remember listening to this song with my girlfriend on long car rides, windows down, the wind in our faces. It's crazy how time slips away, and now she's gone… Every time I hear it, it feels like she's right there next to me, just for a moment. I miss those simple days when the biggest worry was what song would play next. Now life’s heavier, especially after that freak accident with the lawnmower… Sometimes I still think about it and wonder if she’d laugh about it now. Anyway, this song always takes me back.
