This was my favourite and most listened song in 2016. It's November already but I guess this version won the contest for 2017 as well haha this is amazing and so pure!

Artists like lauv are the honest reasons why I am the person that I am today. Around this time last year I went through a rough break up and it was just a rough patch in my life. I remember listening to nothing but songs like “breathe” and “the other”. (Of course I listened to “the other” back when it was released 💙) but his songs actually got me through all the tough times I’ve had this past year and a half. His songs are so relatable and meaningful. I appreciate the person that he is and I wanted to say thank you for everything that you’ve put out for us. 💙
