This LIVE version is even better than the MTV version. Lauv is really cool. I learned about him just a few months back. But he's been around for a number of years already. Where was I then...gee. I'm glad I found him on You Tube. I get to enjoy his beautiful music.

He's got the prettiest, raspiest, clearest voice. There's some power to it as well! That slight lisp he has is the most adorable thing. All in all, this was a good performance. The only aspect I didn't like was how loud the backing track was. It was drowning out his lovely voice. I'd like to hear an acoustic version of this song.

I knew many will have different preference in the "drop" part. When I first listened to the drop, I felt like someone just served me pickles in peanuts. As time passed, I would be looking forward to the drop part as my mind would automatically imagine the singer turned into a hairy animal dancing like the world's going to end before he returns to his old sappy self. It's a black and white combo, like sadness and high. It is arts.
